Stuart Ross

Inducted 2025

As one of the original Lollapalooza Tour team, Stuart was the only person on site at every single show – someone had to settle! He did not however, get an Emmy nomination for his appearance in the documentary, and the voice actor who read his quotes on the audio book sounds nothing like him.

From his festival background, Stuart became the COO of Festivals for Goldenvoice / AEG, with responsibility for Coachella / Stagecoach, and then landed at Red Light Management with Coran Capshaw for 9 years developingfestival properties and managing artists.

In 2022, Stuart along with touring legends Charlie Hernandez, Marty Hom and Jake Berry partnered with the Rock Lititz campus to start a production forward conference with meaningful dialogue and connections. THE Conference: Live at Lititz, is now the largest live event conference in the world.

Stuart’s goals for our industry are for all of us to work with best business practices, take care of our friends, be people of our word, and leave it better than we found it.

Stuart Ross has been a manager, an agent, a tour manager, a tour accountant, a festival producer, and a conference partner. Sometimes all at the same time.

From starting out in Cleveland as a roadie (The Doors!) when he was just a teenager, to tour managing legendary acts, to settling stadium tours like Metallica and George Michael, to managing legends, he’s worked in most areas of the live event industry.

His almost 40-year (and continuing) collaboration with Tom Waits, resulted in Ticketmaster developing paperless ticketing. His 10-year management of Puddles Pity Party resulted in a recent Madison Square Garden performance. Stuart was instrumental in returning Monty Python legend Eric Idle to touring after a long hiatus.
